Project Details & Features

With multiple locations across the US, Collins Aerospace is one of the world's largest suppliers of aerospace and defense products. Their Cedar Rapids, Iowa location focuses on avionics and missions systems research and was in need of a laboratory renovation. The project includes 100 workstations of standard and special request Symbiote product and also utilizes customer supplied utility panels.

Height adjustable UltraFrame workstations support electrostatic dissipative surfaces and above bench open shelving storage. With data and electrical connections mounted to the UltraFrames, laboratory technicians can gain quick access. These utility panels were customer provided and Symbiote easily included them in the project. Workstations are constructed as double sided islands and single sided stations around the perimeter of the lab.
